Hicks Wade is searching for her family roots. Her grandfather, Joseph Hicks was born in Ark., she believe and died in Texas. He was married to Missouri Simms? (I am not sure about Missouri maiden name or previous married name). They had several children, their names were Wilson Simms, Ida, John, Harvey and Chester Arthur Hicks. After the death of Joseph (Joe) Hicks, Missouri moved to Oklahoma with several of her children. She later died and was buried in Clearview,Okfuskee county, Oklahoma.
