Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Cei.2ACEB/3486 Message Board Post: I am in search of information about Brian Shipp. He was my mother's (Willie Marie Shipp, daughter of W T Shipp and Sallie Arrington) half brother (his mother was Frances Hicks, Redlick TX). I have just returned from a family funeral and was told that he died at eighteen, shot by a rival suitor. He must have died around 1918 - 1922 (?). No one alive knows much about the incident. I am hoping to find a date of birth/death and a burial site, perhaps either Nash cemetary or Redlick cemetary. Then maybe I can look thru the newspaper archives. I would appreciate any help, as I live in New Mexico and it is hard to do East Texas research from here. Thank you. Marcia Polansky
