Hicks married Pheraby Ann Huldah Phelps (daughter of Enoch Sylvester Spruill Phelps) in Sabine Parish Louisiana 3-30-1848. They had a James Jason Hicks born in TX (Newton Co.?) and other children. James Jason had Simeon Carson Hicks. Family lore is that William M. was from Mississippi. I can't seem to find anything else about him. Hope someone has something. Thanks for all help.
