My ggrandmother was Charlotte Hicks born in Tennesee in 1852. the best I can figure she is the daughter of Nancy Jenkins and Adrey Hicks. I Nancy with ALL her children on the 1860 census. Adrey wasn't living there at the time. Was he in the Civil War? Did he die in the war?
