Yes the Brothers John,Claiborne,Nathaniel Hicks were the sons of John Hicks of Cumberland Co Va per his Will. Elias Hicks my GG grandfather was the son of Claiborne or John Hicks we have found no written proof,however Elias only left Russell County once and that was in 1850 when his Youngest son Andrew Hicks was born in Floyd Co KY or Perry Co KY We think he went there to show off his new Wife and mother of Andrew Didema White. Elias First wife and my GG grandmother was Sallie Puckett the Dau of George W Puckett. Many of the descendant of Elias and John Hicks still live in Russell and Wise Co of Va. Thanks Dave Hicks
