Well, even though I am still working on dad's COBB and WEIR/WARE side... my most recent breakthrough was on mom's KINSLOW side. I started to work on my mother's side for a while after my second cousin gave my pop-pop's parent's names. He finally dug his family tree stuff and shared it with me. My connection to Nathan Hicks and his wife Na' Ye' He' is down some to Drury Ryan and his wife Sena Ann Walker through their daughter Rachel Ryan and her husband THOMAS KINSLOW. Thomas and Rachel (Ryan) Kinslow are my great-grandfather's - William Kinslow's parents. William married Rose Dougherty and one of their many children was my mother's mother Rosanne "Rose" Kinslow who married William Linder... my maternal grandparents. I have included some things that several of my cousins gave me. Well, now I know why HICKS always raised a flag with me... especially when it came to Nathan Hicks. The old family stories must have been buried way deep from my early childhood. I used to love hearing the old family stories from the old folks.
