I am only a Hicks by marriage, but am helping to research the Hicks family for In-Laws. I personally don't know anything about them, or where they are orginally from, but hope to have this info soon. I just know that my Father-in-law is Gary Hicks and he lives in Wright County, Mountain Grove, Missouri. He does have family in some of the surrounding areas, but I don't know their names or where they are. I have never met them. (I live in Georgia, so I am helping them out the best I can from here.) If anyone has any information on Hicks' from Missouri, or the line of Gary Hicks, or Hicks' in the surrounding areas of Wright County, Missouri, please contact me directly, or post it here.
