Most of my information on the early Hicks/Donaldsons is from the work my grandfather's niece compiled about 20 years ago. I really appreciate your willingness to share more with me. My mother's father was the grandson of Moses Martin Donaldson, Jr. His parents were Sumner Clark Donaldson and Susie Victoria Grigg. I am in Oklahoma but if I have the opportunity someday to visit Illinois, I will be sure and check the library for the information you mentioned. Thanks again for your help.
