I don't know a Nathan Hicks. My older cousin told me that when Anna Hicks (my great grandmother) was alive, she told him about her grandfather's (or great grandfather's) memorial service in Carterville, MO. After the service, Indians took his body to the reservation (maybe in OK) for burial because he was part Indian himself and his deceased wife had been the daughter of an Indian chief. This is the information I'm looking for. Thanks for your help.
