Daniel Hicks was the name of the witness at the marriage of our William Hicks and Elizabeth Dunnaway 1825, in Caswell Co, NC. I have long sought someone who could tell me something about him. I have seen signs of him, and men I believe to be his sons living around him. But, have found nothing concrete about him in any form. Could you tell me a little more about him? The Littleberry Hicks you mentioned in your post--what can you tell me about him? I am intrigued. I wonder if any of these individual's might be relatives of our William Hicks??? William Hicks and Elizabeth Dunnaway had a son RANSOM HICKS--I KNOW that that is a name from Caswell Co as I have seen that name repeated in many times. Do you know who it may derive from?
