Nancy's father's name was Frederick. no name for her mother, also no dates of birth. Nancy married Peyton Baughn, 3/8/1827 in Pike Co. Ga., they were in Carroll Co. in 1844. they named one son after her father, this son was born in Harris Co. Ga. she and Peyton later moved to Al. where Peyton was killed while in office serving his second term as Probate Judge of Winston Co. Al. have reason to believe this Hicks family may have been Native American, some family papers refer to them as being " FULL BLOOD BLACK DUTCH" thanks in advance for any help........Elisa
