Surnames: Hicks, Ketron, Green, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Cei.2ACEB/4105.1.2.2.1.1 Message Board Post: No it isn't, My James George Hicks, born March 2, 1790, married Mary Magdalene Kettenring/Ketron sometime around 1820, maybe a little earlier then that, as thier oldest child was born March 18. 1823, in Sullivan County, Tennessee, I am guessing at the marriage date. Mary Magdalene Ketron was born October 3, 1785 in Wythe Co., Virginia, but moved with her family to Sullivan Co, sometime circa 1810 give or take a year or so. I don't seem to be having much luck on finding my James Hicks' father, John Hicks, wife unknown. Good luck in your Hicks search.
