Sarah was the daughter of William Green and Keziah Stroud who were married in 1781 in Orange Co NC. About 1783 they moved to Burke Co NC where Sarah was born ca 1790. Sarah died in Carroll Co GA bef 1845 and Matthew married 2nd Louiza McKleray (McElroy) on 12 July 1845. Do you have any evidence (deeds, minutes, wills, etc) that show Matthew was born or lived in Chatham Co NC? georgie
