In 1850 Ale and his wife are living in Jackson county, TN. I have found this record in Ancestry: HIX, O. G. State: TN Year: 1891 County: Clay County Record Type: Township: Dist. 7 -male Voters- Page: 1000 Database: TN 1891 Voters List I can't be sure this is the same man though. I need to find proof that Oliver Hicks/Hix was married to Permelia Smith and any other Hicks information. The line I am tracing goes through Martha Eliz. Hicks who married William Lihue PIGG. Two of Martha's sisters also married PIGG brothers Daniel and James Matthew. Thanks for any help!
