Floyd D. Hicks will be officiating. The remains were cremated. Mrs. Rodgers died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003 at Dickson County Nursing Home in Dickson. Her parents, Floyd Hicks and Lorene Thompson Hicks, preceded her in death. Her husband, Carl M. Rodgers, and her daughter, Darla Lorene Davis, also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons, Tommy Blaylock and Eddie O’Neal Blaylock, both of Dickson; a brother, Floyd D. Hicks, of Hermitage; six grandchildren, LeAnn Petty, Greg Blaylock, Lori Suddoth, Richie Blaylock, Sean Davis and Christy Phillips; six great-grandchildren, Cody Phillips, John Ray Suddoth, Jacob Suddoth, Joshua Suddoth, Jacob Henry, Noah Thomas Blaylock; several nieces and nephews. Those desiring, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
