Bridges, page 24, ....."State of North Carolina, Richmond County,"....mentions the estate of Hiram Hicks and Elizabeth Hicks as Executrix of Hiram Hicks, deceased. Elizabeth Hicks is trying to get approval from the courts to sell part of the estate to pay creditors in Nov. 1881. This may be the lady in the cemetery in MO. I expect more information on this family could be found in the NC Archives or among the will or estate papers of this man in the Richmond Co.,NC courthouse in Rockingham, NC
