I am looking for the parents of Martha "Mattie" L. Hicks (b.1857 in TX) who married G. W. Hestilow in Erath, TX in 1879. One of the census records listing Mattie and GW states that her parents were from MS, though I strongly suspect they could have just been passing through, rather than actually from there. Any ideas? Thanks!
