The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover, with the Rev. Scott Ezell officiating. Burial will be in Heflin Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until the service Friday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 7, 1906, in Stewart County, daughter of Harry and Inez Robertson James. She was the widow of Arthur Hicks and was preceded in death by a son, Leon Hicks, and two daughters, Frances Young and Martha Wallace. Mrs. Hicks was a homemaker and a member of New Haven Methodist Church. Survivors include a son, Billy Hicks, Paris, Tenn.; three daughters, Sue Cutshall, Clarksville, Brooxie O'Bryant, Seal Beach, Calif., and Evelyn Link, Dover; 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
