Giles Hicks are the same person. Military records do not show anyone of his rank with a similar name in that unit. It appears that he used the names interchangeably. Since Elsie Lamborn was twenty years his junior, it makes sense that he would have had a prior marriage.. Jean, I have been researching the Hicks line for about a year.
