She was born in 1836 in Alabama. The census records her father as being born in Georgia, her mother in South Carolina, no names. She married George Tunrbough. I would so appreciate any help in solving her puzzle. (A very old snapshot shows her with a head accessory and beaded purse that would seem to be Native American.) Thanks...Donna

I did that for Paul HICKS whose death was in 2004 and found no mention about Arkansas (AR), but rather a Paul B. HICKS whose SSN was issued in Oklahoma (OK) and was the closest match. I wasn't 100% satisfied however that they were/are the same person because, as I recall, one date was slightly off. Therefore, in answer to your question, it may be the same guy, but because I couldn't be 100% certain based only on the data included in the Fred's Place Memorial Page posting, I did not put this mention up as an addendum to the SSDI of one Paul B. HICKS. If you believe it to be the same person, may I suggest you consider making notation of that here on this board explaining why for future researchers and then also add it to his SSDI online SSDI record as well. Alternatively, if you are hesitant as I was, you can always email the person that put up Paul's Memorial mention at Fred's Place seeking to clarify and confirm which Paul HICK's this was. While she gave no last name, her first name and email address is in my posting on this board. Glen F. Pritchett USGENWEB volunteer
