Hello, I am new to this list , and I am searching for information on the following ILLIG family. LUDWIG CHRISTOPH ALBRECHT ILLIG, birth date unknown , marriage date unknown, in Germany wife: ANNE MARIE MEYER (maiden name) children : (that I have so far (I think??) ALL christened in STADTPFARRI , EVAGELISCH, DARMSTADT, STARKENBURG, HESSEN , GERMANY 1) JOHANN KARL HEINRICH ILLIG , born 1820 2) WILHELMINE ELISE FREDRIKE ILLIG , born 1822 3) GEORGE CHRISTIAN WILHELM ILLIG , born 1824 4) PHILIP ILLIG , born 1831 5) LUDWIG ILLIG , born 1834 6) believe there was also a WILHELM ILLIG??? These dates may not be right, and there may be more children. my husbands line is PHILIP ILLIG he was in St. Clair co. Illinois (USA) in 1858 he married CAROLINE KEIM. I would Love to know when the arrived in the US , and if they came together or separately. Did their parents come with them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
