    3. Seeking ancestral information for Johannn Christoph REINMUTH, b 12 Sept 1832 in the Brackenheim District, Massenbach, and his wife Amelia, (Emilie) b.1835. . Johann Christoph applied to immigrate to North America in 1854. Later, he is listed as a passenger on the Ship "Vandalia" which departed Havre de Grace for NYC. Arriving 24 Jul 1854, These GGGrandparents moved first to Virginia, and then to Chicago, Illinois, where they appear in 1860 US Census with daughter Anna. There are confusing details of a passage on the ship Hanra from Bremen, Germany to NYC arriving on 20 July 1863. The place of origin is listed as Glanchan for the three REINMUTH ladies. Possibly, Emilie went back and forth at about the time of Johann Christoph REINMUTH's death. The passenger list shows their infant daughter, Clara REINMUTH, aged 10/12 and Anna aged 5 years accompanying their mother. Emilie later married Phillip WOLF in Chicago, on 21 Sept 1876 Phillip WOLF was born in Germany in 1835. He was a shoemaker. We would very much appreciate any further details on the REINMUTH family prior to their immigration. Please send all responses to Douglas Roger Dexheimer, whistles73@earthlink.net and Karen Ann Filkey, a distant cousin, Lilly87cut@aol.com
