My G Grandfather came from Hesse Germany, that is all I ever had on him. Now I just received his Intention to become citizen an it says ELECTER of Hesse Cassel, is there anything in that post that could narrow down where he came from? ELECTER is a misspelling of Elector. The ruler of Hesse-Cassel or Hesse-Kassel took the title of Elector.
