I suspect you have a misspelling. The closest my Gross Shell Atlas comes is a Burg-Grafenrode, which happens to be in Hesse. "Rothgrafenburg" was mentioned in another document as the birthplace of a daughter Margaretha HESS; as a place name, Rothgrafenburg could be someone's version of Burg-Grafenrode.
