My 3rd cousin is in Germany right now and has visited the village where our German side comes from...the village's name is OBERLANGSFELD Hessen Germany....she mentioned that there is a woman there in the village by the name of Reibold that studies family history in the town and evidently the people in the village speak a German dialect that is very much different from solid German... Would anyone know what she means..she didn't explain it to me and I don't know when I will hear from her again...
