Hi, About church records. I was in Germany in December and found the church records for one ancestor's small village in the archives at Speyer. They had been microfilmed by LDS and are also available at the Family History Centers. The church records for her husband's small village are still in the larger parish church (protestant) in the area. They are still using the same books started in the late 1700s/early 1800s to record today's births, deaths, and marriages! They have never been microfilmed. Carol
