I am researching my ancestors COESTER and HOTTENROTH in Germany, Preußen, Hessen-Nassau, Allendorf (Kr. Witzenhausen). I am looking for church records but the Family HIstory Center Index has every kind of record except church records. Does anyone know where I could find church records? Georg Christoph Coester b. 16 August 1798, d. 21 May 1858 , minister in Allendorf and wife Jacobine Phillippine Rothammel b. 13 Nov. 1808, d. 2 April, 1878 Their son Heinrich Friedrich listed as farmer came to New York in 1857 at age 20. He travelled with the HOTTENROTH family including his future bride, Henriette who was then 12 years old. (Germans to America) Any help would be appreciated. Lisa Fox upstate NY
