Have recently discovered my WEIDEMANN family was from Lyhren, Grafschaft Schaumburg, Hessen-Nassau, Prussia. This family with 5 children settled in Chicago, IL, USA. Some members of this family were baptized in Apelern. Other names connected to this line are HATTENDORF from Riehe and GRIESE from Soldorf.
