Hi all, My GGG grandfather Johann Adam Kramer is said to have gone to Moscow with Napoleon's Army and then returned to Fulda, his home town. What units/regiments from the Fulda area would have been involved in this campaign? Was there are form of conscription that would have drafted him to serve in Napoleon's Army? What military archives are available in Fulda? Any info regarding the above would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks John Eller New Zealand
