I put my first installment of my Brensbach research on WorldConnect last night. Its called Brensbach-bbh and its up now. Mostly I looked at marriage and birth records from about 1808-1870 and extracted all the info that I found for these names: Buechler, Blumensheim, Hartmann, Lautenschlaeger, Kaffenberger, Kriechbaum, Maser, Roeder, Rettig, Reinheimer, Steinmetz, Schwoebel, Vetter. All of these names except Blumensheim and Maser are connected to my great-grandfather's Bixler family in the Gross Bieberau area. Looks like I found the Steinmetz and Buechler families of two of the spouses of my great-grandfather's siblings. The other two names are ones in the ancestry of some of my cousins who are researching in the same area. I originally ordered these films because I was curious if my Bixlers aka Buexler & Bueschler were related to the Buechlers in Brensbach but before the films came in I found out that my Buexlers were from the Pirmasens area in Alsace. Warning: I used the indexes to these records and the indexes were not legible all the way through, so I may have missed people.
