Bob, I have Margerat Blum from the Fulda area. She died (1845) in Sandlofs which is west of Fulda. This name is recorded in church records in the archives of the Diocese of Fulda in the time period of the early 1700's. Other villages listed in these records include Friesenhausen, Dieterhausen and Margrethenhaun. These villages are about 10 miles east of Fulda and so my guess is that Giebelrein is in this area. I have done a mapquest search and a Google search with no results. My guess is a misspelling or a misreading. Or maybe this village was absorbed into another village and no longer exists.
