I am trying to find information on my ancestor Theodore Smith/Schmidt. He was born in 1838 in Hesse Germany by 1861 he was in Durham England where he married Jane Ann Hart in 1862. In 1868 he immigrated over to Frostburg MD and then by 1900 he is in Jefferson Co.Oh. I have been unsuccessful in finding anything on Theodore's parents or any sibling's. Does anyone know where I can find information at on him and also what years census are available for the Hesse area. Any help is greatly appreciated. Schannon
