    1. [HESSE] translation help please
    2. Hello List - I've finally been able to print records from Germany for my family. I have a baptism from 1826 that I need help translating. The handwriting is not bad (as far as I can tell). I can make out some of the words, but would like to know what the rest says, since the minister used the same format for all baptisms. Is there anyone who could translate the Gothic script into modern German (so I can see letter for letter what's there) and then help with the translation to English as well? I could scan and email the copy. Thanks, Anita, Ontario, Canada

In case you did not know this opportunity yet: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/transcribe/ http://www.rootsweb.com/~deutg/help.htm Greetings, Ralf
