There seems to be an issue with accessing HADIS through direct links. Best is to start from the root and walk through the different hierarchies. Here is the path to walk: 1. http://www.hadis.hessen.de 2. Enter "Auswanderer-Nachweise" into search field end press enter 3. Within the search results click "HStAD :: Hessisches Staatsarchiv Darmstadt" 4. Then click "Auswanderer-Nachweise" 5. Now choose the initial letter of the family name of the person you're looking for ... and Good luck !!! Regards, Thierry Dr. Thierry P.
