How do I do that? I havn't been reading all of the messages. I tried the first step and got to the names. The only place you can find records on them in the US until after the Civil War is in the city directories- starting about 1847. They all seem to come from Hesse Darmstadt, except Peter's wife who comes from Alsace Lorraine.
