Hi Listies, "Innenstadt" is NOT a town name. It just signifies "City Centre". That's all. This exists in any small or large city in Germany and abroad. None of these formerly were a town of that name or would typically be mentioned as birth place. It is as if in US somebody would refer to be born in a city called "Down Town". You therefore should follow other traces or indices than the Innenstadt of Frankfurt. If somebody would have been born there, he would have indicated Frankfurt to be his city of birth.   Good luck & cheers, Thierry
