Johann Kaspar Heck only had two sons, Johannes and Johann Heinrich Heck. He also had a bevy of girls. One of which was a Magdalena. Maria and Magdalena are two names which carried through my family for a few generations. Johanna Elisabetha Heck was born in Fechenheim, now a part of Frankfurt am Main. Her father, Martin Heck (b.1716) and mother Maria Magdalena Mueller were also born there. Her grandfather Christoffel Heck (b. about 1688) died in Fechenheim but his birth/baptism record is not in the Fechenheim church records. Mention is made about Christoffel's father, Just Heck (b. about 1630), being from Kilios Statt, which I am thinking might be Kilianstaedten which is only about 3 miles southeast of Karben and Gross Karben. I know you are more interested in getting information on the maternal lines. But you indicate that you received some information from researchers on the Heck line. Do any of these names appear in your records? Sue Foster My Oberkalbach Web Site - http://ursula.foster.cc/ My Fechenheim Web Site -http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~fechenheim/
