They had five daughters and my ggggrandfather Johann Georg Heck, my immigrant ancestor. It actually appears that the two children noted in the Karben records were perhaps the youngest of Hermann and Anna Heck. Hermann Heck was 47 when Johann Kaspar was born. My researcher told me that Hermann Heck was not originally from Gros-Karben. Since he was a shepherd, he could have traveled a bit. I would love to find birth locations for him and his wife as well. His marriage to Anna Gertraud may even have been a second marriage. I would certainly be delighted if we could determine a connection between our respective Heck lines. It certainly seems that they lived close to one another. Johanna Elisabetha Heck was born in Fechenheim, now a part of Frankfurt am Main. Her father, Martin Heck (b.1716) and mother Maria Magdalena Mueller were also born there. Her grandfather Christoffel Heck (b. about 1688) died in Fechenheim but his birth/baptism record is not in the Fechenheim church records. Mention is made about Christoffel's father, Just Heck (b. about 1630), being from Kilios Statt, which I am thinking might be Kilianstaedten which is only about 3 miles southeast of Karben and Gross Karben. I know you are more interested in getting information on the maternal lines. But you indicate that you received some information from researchers on the Heck line.
