Thanks to Lee and Bev for all the good info. I believe I am related to the HENSLEYs that you both wrote about. Albemarle Co, VA is a match and many of the first names that Lee mentioned also fit (William, Fleming, Thomas, James). My bunch came first to St. Louis, MO and ended up in Jefferson Co, MO (I think some also went to Lincoln Co, MO). I believe I am descended from William HENSLEY and Elizabeth APPLEBERRY, both born in Albemarle Co, VA. I think William was a brother of Samuel (mentioned by Bev) but I'm not certain. I would greatly appreciate any info that anyone has on descendents of this couple, particularly those who went to Missouri. I have hit the proverbial "brick wall" with my great grandfather Albert Benjamin HENSLEY. I can't seem to figure out who his father was.
