Trying to track him in VA before he moved to Caswell Co. NC. He does have a Rev War pay voucher from NC, so I know he was in NC by the time of the Rev War. Have found one reference to him in Louisa Co VA, which was formed out of Hanover. Many, many Benjamins are in that area, as well as a Wm. and John. I suspect one of those was his father, but have no clue yet as to which. Did a lot of work on this in Salt Lake City this spring, but I am still looking.
