I have some information on Davis Hensley, but nothing prior to 1781, when he may have sent a substitute to the Guilford courthouse (NC)during the Revolution. I suspect he came to South Carolina from another state. How do you know that Willis was born in SC in 1770? I would be glad to share what I have with you. Sarah Jane Thompson may have been a relative as one of Willis' sisters married George Thompson prior to coming to Missouri. The Montgomery KY early marriages are non-existent.
