I'm looking for the parents of Banister Hensley (born abt. 1811) and Silas A. Hensley (born abt. 1816) who were brothers and living in Yancey Co., NC per the 1850 census. Some genealogists have their father as William A. "Black Bill" Hensley but he was born in 1798 which would make him only 13 years old when Banister was born.
