Hello Cindy, My William Hensley married Clarissa Malinda Sanders in 1847, Wayne Co., TN. They had 6 children: 5 girls, 1 boy, named Martin Asa after Wm's brother. My direct ancestor was Sally Ann Hensley b. 1850 Hartzugg Twp. Co., ARK who married David Coleman Goats, JR. They lived in Copeland,Van Buren Co., ARK for the remainder of their lives, both bur: Pleasant Grove Cem., nr. Alread. I am very sure that my Hensley's are related closely to the other Hensley families, but just haven't been able to make a proven connection and no one else has either!! Wm & Clarissa's first child was named Elizabeth Lurana, which to me means if they followed the naming pattern, as we know that Clarissa's mother was name Lurana, then Wm's mother must have been an Elizabeth. Sally was their second child. Sally & David's first child (my great grandmother) was named Mary Malinda Adeline, still following the pattern, tho somewhat altered.
