Debbie, Saw you researching line and I too am researching a Rinehart line. Here is what I know on mine?? Any connections: Louisa Jane Rinehart married Andrew Jackson Moody at Peru, Howard Co., Ks (Howard was later changed to two counties, now, Elk & Chautauqua County) Thier marraige lis was found in Chautaqua Co. they married August 3, 1872. Louisa died at 104 years and is buried in Humbolt, Ks. It is felt that she was most likely born in Indiana and came to Kansas with family and settled or came to Kansas as a young girl to visit relatives when she met Andrew. My uncle felt they found her in a census in Indiana as a young girl staying with another family. They also have some unconfirmed info that her father died when she was very young and that her mother died after that sometime. I will find the specifics with names on the above if none of this fits as of yet. Please let me know?? Thanks, Deb P>S> I too come through the hensley line. I don't have anything on your lines though! Sorry!?!?! -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [SMTP:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, July 20, 2000 3:42 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [HENSLEY-L] Introduction Hello Everyone, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Debbie Hensley Fain and I am researching the Hensley family. My line begins with Benjamin Hensley (d. abt 1788 in VA) and wife Susannah. Two known sons, Samuel (b. 1751 in VA) and John (b. 1753 in VA). My line goes through Samuel>George Washington, Sr.(b. 1788 in VA)>Milton M., Sr.(b. 1827 in VA)>Marion Howard (b. 1864 in KY)>Cecil Howard (b. 1894 in KY)>Cecil Leonard (b. 1925 in KS)>me. As I have learned, there just isn't much information out there for this family. I don't know if there is little documentation or it's out there hiding somewhere I haven't been able to find. I would like to correspond with anyone who is researching or knows anything about this line.
