Note: date of death on headstone: 8 Jan 1920, however date of death printed in Marshall Mountain Wave: Wed, 7 Jan 1920 Married #1 Abt 1862 Elizabeth Christy b. 1839 AR (father: John Christy, mother: Elizabeth Christy). Children: Lula Abbie Gail b. 8 Jan 1868 MO d. 1933 Davidson, OK (m. 11 Oct 1883 St. Joe, Searcy Co, AR Alexander S. Jameson), Porter "Jack" b. 1862 AR, Edgar b. 1865 AR. Married #2 Sarah Helen Snow b. 4 Feb 1849 d. 17 Feb 1899 (she hung herself) bur: Old Marshall Cemetery, Searcy Co, AR. Children: Joseph B b. 1875 AR, Harbert b. 1877 AR, July b. 1879 AR P.M. Hensley served in Co. K, 18th Reg Ark Infantry, CSA - was also a "member" of the AR Peace Society. Applied for pension: "Hensley, P.M., veteran #20334, Co I, 3rd Reg Ark Inf, service date 1863, veteran applied 8 Aug 1918 Searcy Co." 1850 Searcy Co Census, p. 164A lists: Christy, John age 42 Farmer b.
