Lynda, I have a Harry and Mary Hensley with a son George W. Hensley that fits the description you gave. I don't know if it is the same family or not, but it looks like a strong possibility. They were in Washington Co, TN in 1850 and 1860. Mary was born in NC, and their son George W was born ca 1858/59 in TN, so everything is close to what you are looking for.
