    1. [HENSLEY-L] RE: Hensley's in Cemeteries
    2. John & Sandra Brandt
    3. Hello! I descend from Charles Hensley b.1792-93 N.C. and wife "M." b. 1790-1800 Tn. Married White? Co. Tn. Known children; John A. b.1818 White Co., Margaret Elizabeth b. 1824 White Co., Winkfield b. 1828 White Co., & Martha Jane b. 1835 White Co. Margaret married Charles Voliva (b.1823 N.C.) in 1848 White Co. Tn. "M" died between 1840-50, and Charles and his adult children, with spouses (including my ancestors, Margaret and Charles Voliva), all migrated to IL., ending up in Hamilton Co. IL. I often wonder if the Hensley's knew the Voliva's from eastern N.C. (Tyrell & Hyde Co's) and followed the migration trail established by former neighbors. Do you have records of other Hensley's being b. in N.C.? I think my line migrated to Tn. in the very early 1800's. Can you add anything to my info? Thanks! However I did see some buried in the Kinnaird Cemetery. They are: Edward Floyd Hensley May 3, 1927 Aug 26, 1934 James Lloyd Hensley May 3 1927 Mar 28 1928 Alice Duff Hensley Oct 31 1923 Feb 13 1924 Hensley Eddie P Bessie L Jan 7 1895 Aug 20 1900 Aug 2 1945 Dec 16 1988 I did not see any of the Voliva's. However I also have Hensley's in our line, so I think I would of made note of any I saw. Hope this helps a little! Tamie Harding
