Hi gang, I've been hard at work updating my pages (and creating new ones) for the Yancey County, NC Hensleys. I'm almost finished, but have a few more to do. Anyway, if anyone wants to check them out, I'll give a link below. I started with the 1850 Yancey County census, and created a page for every single Hensley household listed, and for each Hensley who was living with someone else that year. I put all the documentation that I have for that family or person on the page. Everything listed has documentation, or commentary on why I have it listed a certain way, if evidence is lacking. When I get the last few Hensley families from 1850 done, I'll go back to the 1840 census, where most are already done, but a few were there in 1840, who moved by 1850. Most (that left) went to TN or KY. After doing that, I'll move on to some other county (probably NC or TN only at this time). I've got my eye on Washington Co, TN since so many of those are of the same family as those in Yancey Co, NC. All comments are welcome.
