Hi to all! I have been watching with interest your "talks". I am researching this family also, but have only just begun. I recently found "Hensley Family Book" by Mrs. Geraldine Satterwaite, 1979, in our Family History Center. My connection is John Hensley b.1805 Gallatin, Ky to Samuel & Alsafair (Cooper) Hensley. According to Mrs.Satterwaite the line connects back to Samuel Hensley who died in Orange Co., VA abt.1735. The "wall" I am trying to climb is locating information on John Hensley and his wife Amelia Kellums, these are my 5th greatgrandparents. They were married in 27 Sept 1836 in Lawerenceville, IL. I have no information on Amelia Kellums. Is ANYONE researching this family???? Does ANYONE have info on Amelia/her parents???? Deb Schnabel
