Would like to throw out the lines I am researching on my husband's side. Jay Douglas HENSLEY, born Aug 1889 in Sparta TN, married Nellie Mae MANKEL born Aug 1889, McMinnville TN. Jay Douglas' parents were William Reece HENSLEY & Mary Ida ARNOLD both born in Sparta TN. Nellie's parents were Alex Clinton MANKEL born in Louisville KY and Mary Lina Elizabeth STEEDLEY of Evansville IL. William Reece HENSLEY was the son of John Douglas HENSLEY & Sarah (Sally) Broyles HERD. Mary Ida ARNOLD was the daughter of Seth ARNOLD & Mary Ann (Molly) HERD. There was definitely some interfamily marriages in this line. Alex Clinton MANKEL was the son of George Louis MANKEL & Mary Ann HARVEY. Mary Lina STEEDLEY was the daughter of George STEEDLEY & Elizabeth SHYCOFF. That should be enough for now, willing to share info with fellow researchers. Sharon Hensley
